About this service

Precisely what we do, step by step.

Wasp and hornet removal is our fastest-turnaround service. Most same-day calls arriving before noon are completed by evening. We treat all common BC species including paper wasps, yellowjackets, European wasps, bald-faced hornets, and mud daubers.

For visible nests we use a direct knockdown plus residual treatment at the entry point. Ground-nesting yellowjackets get careful attention since they can be aggressive and the colony is often much larger than what you see. Hidden in-wall or in-roof colonies require a slightly different protocol — we typically treat the entry point without physically removing the nest.

Price is $195 for most standard nests. Premium charges apply for heights above 20 feet, ground colonies, or multiple nests.

We wait long enough to confirm activity has ceased. Return visit if needed at no cost.

04

Exterior preventive application on common harbourage points — eaves, soffits, deck beams.

How to tell

Signs it’s time to call.

  • Visible nest — papery, spherical (yellowjacket), umbrella-shaped (paper wasp), or football-sized and gray (bald-faced hornet).
  • Consistent wasp traffic going in and out of a single point on your home.
  • Wasps entering through a weep hole, soffit gap, or ground hole.
  • Aggressive wasp behavior in a specific area — may indicate an unseen ground nest.
Common questions

Everything else you might be wondering.

How fast can you actually be here?

+
For most same-day calls we're on-site within 2-4 hours. During peak wasp season (July-September) we prioritize emergency calls involving children, pets, or allergic reactions.

Do you remove the nest or just kill the wasps?

+
Depends on location. Exposed nests in safe-to-access locations we'll remove. In-wall and in-roof colonies are treated at the entry point but the nest is often left to be naturally cleared by carpet beetles and other decomposers — this is safer than cutting into the structure.

What about honeybees?

+
We do not kill honeybees. If you have a honeybee colony we refer you to a local beekeeper who will come relocate them safely, often at no charge to you.
